2011 has been quite a successful year for Fabio. It began with two important mixdown sessions for Stick Men (feat. Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto and Markus Reuter) and the recently reformed US pop-rock band Mr.Mister.
Next he became involved in the production of (German medieval-metal band) Subway To Sally’s new album, which kept him busy for several months. The resulting album ‘Schwarz In Schwarz’ was released in September, receiving widespread critical acclaim and reaching #4 in the German charts.

During the summer Fabio toured again with Italian prog-rock icons Le Orme, playing important gigs in Rome (@ ‘Casa del Jazz’) and Milan (@ ‘Palasharp’), together with another Italian prog-rock legend; Il Banco.

He also contributed to Lorenzo Feliciati's new project Naked Truth (LP ‘Shizaru’, feat. Lorenzo Feliciati on bass, Pat Metheny's trumpet player Cuong Vu, Roy Powell on Keyboards and Pat Mastelotto on drums), mixing 3 songs and playing fretless bass and kalimba on one of them.

At present Fabio is working again with TUNER, mixing their upcoming album. Besides this, he is planning to take his solo project Moonbound on the road in 2012. Rehearsals are scheduled to begin before the end of the year.
