2011 has been quite a successful year for Fabio. It began with two important mixdown sessions for Stick Men (feat. Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto and Markus Reuter) and the recently reformed US pop-rock band Mr.Mister.
Next he became involved in the production of (German medieval-metal band) Subway To Sally’s new album, which kept him busy for several months. The resulting album ‘Schwarz In Schwarz’ was released in September, receiving widespread critical acclaim and reaching #4 in the German charts.
During the summer Fabio toured again with Italian prog-rock icons Le Orme, playing important gigs in Rome (@ ‘Casa del Jazz’) and Milan (@ ‘Palasharp’), together with another Italian prog-rock legend; Il Banco.
He also contributed to Lorenzo Feliciati's new project Naked Truth (LP ‘Shizaru’, feat. Lorenzo Feliciati on bass, Pat Metheny's trumpet player Cuong Vu, Roy Powell on Keyboards and Pat Mastelotto on drums), mixing 3 songs and playing fretless bass and kalimba on one of them.
At present Fabio is working again with TUNER, mixing their upcoming album. Besides this, he is planning to take his solo project Moonbound on the road in 2012. Rehearsals are scheduled to begin before the end of the year.

Fabio is currently involved in two different album productions, with german gothic-medieval rockers Subway To Sally (producer and bassplayer),
and with Italian prog-rock band Le Orme (bass, bass pedals, 12-string acoustic guitar, dulcimer).
Their new concept-album "La Via Della Seta" is scheduled for release in late March, 2011.
He has also just recently mixed a new version of Mr.Mister's 1985 hit-single "Broken Wings".
At the moment Fabio is mixing some new material for the USA band "Stickmen" (Tony Levin: Chapman Stick & vocals / Pat Mastelotto: acoustic and electronic drums / Markus Reuter: U8 Touch Guitar & vocals).

The debut album of the German newcomer pop-rock band aVid*called 'Minor Words & Major Thoughts' (produced and mixed by Fabio in early 2010) has been released.
During the summer Fabio worked on the second LP of a very unique "hard-rock meets Greek folk" Germany-based band called Tri State Corner. Moonbound's brand new CD 'Peak Of Eternal Light' (featuring Pat Mastelotto of King Crimson and Dave Gregory of XTC among others) has been released in Germany in July, and will soon be available in USA and UK.
Fabio is currenty working on a new album with Italian prog-rock band Le Orme, and he's also producing some tracks for the Czech pop-rock band Fate Magazine

The German indie-band "The Intersphere" finally released their new CD called "Interspheres >< Atmospheres" (produced by Fabio in april/may, 2009).

At the moment Fabio is working on new material with some of the musicians of Italian prog-rock band "Le Orme".
He's also scheduled to produce new albums for a Greek music influenced hard-rock band called "Tri State Corner" (www.tristatecorner.com), and for a newcomer pop-rock band called "aVid*" (www.avid-music.de).

In recent weeks, beside touring with Le Orme, Fabio played bass on a new album of Italian New Wave pioneers Frigidaire Tango called "L'Illusione Del Volo", and played guitar on "Strange Darling", the upcoming debut record by Texan female singer Chrysta Bell, an amazing artist who worked on David Lynch's latest film release "Inland Empire" .
He also finished mixing a new Moonbound LP called "Peak Of Eternal Light", co-produced by Markus Reuter and Pat Mastelotto. The record is scheduled for release in march/april 2010, and features guests like XTC guitarist Dave Gregory, 3 Colours Red vocalist/bassist Pete Vuckovic, Le Orme drummer Michi Dei Rossi, as well as Markus Reuter and Pat Mastelotto themselves.

Fabio recently joined the legendary progressive-rock band "Le Orme" from Venice/Italy.
'"Le Orme" is one of the most important and influential Italian bands of all time, with a 40-year career.
He'll be touring with them as a bass and guitar player during the spring/summer of 2009, in the EU, Canada and Mexico.
